Yolanda is a result driven professional with a wealth of experience in business operations, leadership and community service. She loves to travel, spending time with family and friends, giving back to others in her community and abroad. Her commitment to empowering the next generation is evident in her dedication to coaching, development, mentorship and creating an inclusive culture. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Columbia College-Missouri and studies telecommunications while serving in the United States Navy. After an impressive 25-year career, Yolanda left her position as an Associate Director in Corporate America and entered into  semi-retirement on a high note in 2023. She then decided to dedicate her time prioritizing her purpose in a poised position to make an impact in the lives of others. As she strives to help develop self-esteem, confidence, self-love and self-respect in the next generation of future leaders.

In addition to her corporate achievements, Yolanda is the founder and CEO of Yolanda’s Delectable Delights, a sweet treat and all occasion gift box business established in 2019. Her dedication to community service is reflected in her leadership as Chapter Lead of Baxter Health’s African American Leadership Council Outreach/Events NIL, Lead of Baxalta and Takeda’s Black Leadership Council Northern IL Chapter (2012-2024). She also led the Muchin College Prep Chicago Mentor Program, volunteered to speak to girls on several occasions at Chocolate Chip Association STEAM girls’ program, and volunteered with the Waukegan Main Street initiative and BaxVets Business Resource Group.

Yolanda’s leadership and focus on operational excellence will play a pivotal role in creating and sustaining an outstanding girl’s program that will provide the resources and tools needed to succeed.
